Next: Super Mario 3D All-Stars Review: A Must-Have With Missed OpportunitiesĮFootball PES 2021 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. All things considered, PES 2021 is a perfect point of entry for those who missed out on PES 2020 and a valuable update to the game for those who already own it, but it's not different enough to cover up its flaws in the same way its predecessor did, making it an arguable tier lower than FIFA as sports fans turn their eyes towards what next-gen simulations can offer. ![]() ![]() On, Konami announced their roadmap for the rest of 2022 up until 2023 for features such as Master League and the number of teams that can be used in offline mode which will all be released as paid content. The same can be said for its issues, though, including the licensing that has plagued the series for several iterations and results in some chuckle-worthy team names. eFootball is an association football simulation video game developed and published by Konami. PES 2021 still has the same qualities that make it alluring - its realistic approach to soccer, its deep and rewarding Master League system, and its M圜lub system's accessibility - and they aren't going anywhere. In Master League, they can be honed into world superstars over the course of multiple seasons. That lack of change and some shortcomings that really shouldn't exist at this point in the genre don't fully detract from what remains a beautifully executed game for what it is. There's just nothing here that's even close to the athletic stories told by other games, and it really hurts the title. Now that PES 2021 is a much more muted progression for the franchise, it's become abundantly clear that it still lacks a good single player story.
